AKIAK
Blizzard: a snowstorm with strong winds
Checkpoint: a place along a route where people sign in
Courageous: brave, fearless
Experienced: familiar with a task from having done it before
Musher: the driver of a dogsled team
Rugged: having a rough, uneven surface

Shipwreck: wrecked or ruined ship
Survivors: people who have stayed alive
Unsinkable: imposible to sink
Voyage: a long journey to a distant land
Wreckage: the remains of something that has been destroyed

Case: Something that is being investigated
Clue: something that helps solve a mystery
Criminal: a person who has committed a crime
Detective: a person who tries to solve a crime
Evidence: facts or signs that show the truth or that help someone make a conclusion
Solution: the answer to a mystery
Suspect: a person thought to be guilty of a crime
Suspense: uncertainty about what will happen
Witness: a person who sees or hears something
